ABOUT

Two decades of street skating and a few injuries later, I found myself in Toronto as a professional woodworker exploring the city and lakeshore in my free time. Pushing through the vast network of paths gave me the same spark I had when I got my first board at 13 years old. In 2016, I began modifying the very same popsicle decks I grew up with into boards that could ride lower, longer and accept bigger wheels. After about ten iterations, tons of testing and a nudge from Ryan of Longboard Living in Toronto, the Lo-ply Leslie deck was born.

At the core of Lo-ply is the love of skateboarding and the spirit of experimentation. Each design, whether it is a deck, shock pad or washer, is approached with careful consideration and extensive prototyping/testing. The decks are manufactured in Quebec, Canada with Canadian maple veneer. The hard goods are produced in house.

Lo-ply’s focus is on creating an enjoyable experience whether you are new to skating, transitioning from street skating to a commuter board or an advanced LDP rider attempting personal bests. Lo-ply is for everyone.
